Cancellation Options

Cancellation Options

Ultra House provides three standard cancellation options that apply to all bookings unless the Host specifies otherwise in the listing. These policies are designed to maintain fairness between Hosts and Guests while ensuring flexibility for travelers. All Guests must review the applicable cancellation policy before confirming their booking. The policy selected by the Host will appear clearly on the property listing and during the checkout process.

1. Flexible Cancellation Policy

  • Guests who cancel within 1 day before check-in will be charged for 1 night only.
  • If Guests cancel after check-in or during their stay, they will be charged for 1 additional night and refunded for the remaining unused nights.

Example:

If you booked 4 nights and cancel after arriving, you will pay 2 nights (1 used + 1 extra) and receive a refund for the last 2 nights.

Special case: 1-night booking

If you book only one night and cancel after check-in, you will be charged the full cost of that night, with no refund.

2. Moderate Cancellation Policy

  • Guests who cancel 5 days or more before check-in will receive a 50% refund for the unused nights.
  • Guests who cancel within 5 days before check-in or during their trip will be charged for 1 extra night and refunded 50% of the remaining unused nights.

Example:

If you booked 6 nights and cancel 3 days before arrival, you pay for the first night plus 50% of the remaining nights.

Special case: 1-night booking

If you booked one night and canceled 4 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.

3. Limited Cancellation Policy

  • Guests who cancel 7 to 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in or after check-in are non-refundable.

Special case: 1-night booking

If you booked only one night and canceled less than 7 days before check-in, you will not receive any refund.

This option is typically used for properties with high demand or during special events.

4. Host Responsibilities

  • Hosts must clearly select and display one of the three cancellation options for each listing.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, the chosen cancellation policy becomes legally binding for both parties.
  • Hosts may modify the cancellation policy only before the booking is confirmed, but cannot change it after confirmation.

5. Exceptions and Force Majeure

In exceptional cases, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies beyond the control of both parties, Ultra House reserves the right to override the standard cancellation policy and issue refunds or travel credits at its discretion.

Supporting documentation (e.g., official government notices, certificates, or emergency reports) may be required to verify such claims.
